Located in northeast Saskatchewan, this constituency has an economy based primarily on agriculture: straight grain, livestock and hog farming.

Greenwater Lake Provincial Park is located in this constituency.

The major communities are Wadena, Foam Lake and Kelvington with populations of 1,412, 1,218 and 1,007 respectively.
