Constituency Description
Located in northeast Saskatchewan, this constituency's economy is based primarily on mixed farming, forestry, farm implement manufacturing and major feed-lot operations.
This constituency contains an Agriculture Canada Research Station near Melfort, where crops are developed and tested. Honey production is also a major industry in this constituency.
Melfort, which is known as the City of Northern Lights, is the largest community with a population of 5,559.
