Constituency Description
This constituency, located in southwest Saskatchewan, is the agricultural service centre for the region.
Several oilfield service companies in this constituency also provide a great deal of employment.
The city of Swift Current was originally a Canadian Pacific Railway bridge and water depot. Today, it is the largest centre in south west Saskatchewan, and as a result, it is home to schools, health services, social and cultural amenities and the business industry.
The major community in this constituency is Swift Current with a population of 14,821.
