Constituency Description
The constituency of The Battlefords is comprised of North Battleford, a small city in west central Saskatchewan, which is located directly across the North Saskatchewan River from the town of Battleford. The two communities are known as The Battlefords.
The Battlefords is at the juncture of fertile farmlands and the province's 100,000 lakes, large forests and the North Saskatchewan River Valley.
North Battleford has long served as an important business, service and social centre for the region. However, a number of changes and trends may significantly impact the future direction and viability of the community.
