Constituency Description

This constituency has an economy based on mixed farming, grain farming, cattle ranching, oil and gas production and some manufacturing.

Weyburn and area is a vibrant region of the province with strong oil activity and significant new developments in business and industry.

The city of Weyburn is the agricultural service centre for the region. As a result of the many grain companies in the region, it is the single largest inland grain collection point in Canada.
