“I think she’s seen me” suppress the vote: Sask Party senior staffer
REGINA – Today, a team of senior Sask Party staffers were seen removing NDP door-knockers in a seniors’ apartment complex at 1150 Broadway Avenue.
NDP campaigners spotted Terri Harris (deputy chief of staff to Premier Brad Wall), Rebecca Rogochewsky (media relations officer for Kathy Young, executive director of communications) and Steve Rennick (Sask Party caucus communications director) with a team totalling about seven people doing their part for the Sask Party.

Sask Party fails working families
Statistics Canada reported today that Saskatchewan lost full-time jobs as wages fell behind the rising cost of living.
The decline in reported unemployment mostly reflects workers dropping out of the labour force rather than finding jobs. Saskatchewan’s labour force decreased by a troubling 1,300 in October alone and has decreased by 2,000 over the past year.
For those who found work, all of it was part-time. The province lost 300 full-time jobs in October.

Sask Party candidate must explain irregularities
Sask Party candidate Christine Tell appears to be bending the rules:
- She was the only Sask Party member to state that she owned no real property on her 2010 Member’s Public Disclosure Statement. In fact, a land-title search indicates that she has been a joint owner since at least 2009 of a property valued at over $750,000.
- Contrary to the Election Act, a member of Tell’s family who resides in Regina Dewdney voted at an advance poll in Regina Wascana Plains on Nov. 2.
- In the...
Reality Check: New Hutchinson Analytics Poll finds 100 per cent support among Sask Party staffers
A new poll released today shows 100 per cent support for Bill Hutchinson among Sask Party campaign workers.
“That’s an incredible level of support,” said the president of Hutchinson Analytics. “You never know what you’re going to hear when you talk to the general public, so it’s reassuring to see this level of support for Bill among Sask Party campaign workers.”
The Hutchinson Analytics survey was conducted over several minutes of awkward and forced conversation at tables 3 and 5...
Reality Check: Sask Party seeks federal funding that “doesn’t exist”
Hours after attacking the NDP’s fully-costed highways plan for including federal funding, the Sask Party expressed its hope of federal funding for an uncosted corrections plan.
The federal government has typically shared the cost of highway twinning and major bridges, but Sask Party candidate Bill Boyd said that federal funding “doesn’t exist” for such NDP proposals.
Meanwhile, the Leader-Post quotes the Sask Party leader as “hoping that there is some interest in infrastructure...
Reality Check: Healthcare in critical condition in Sask Party’s hands
The Sask Party’s 0.1 per cent healthcare platform proves it will continue to do nothing for a healthcare system threatened by an onslaught of new crises.
Just this week, patients were forced into the hallways at the over-crowded Regina General Hospital, Regina’s renal unit was shut down, and the Prairie North Health Region reduced emergency-room and clinical services. And today, the Leader-Post reports that the Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region cancelled surgeries and transferred...
